SPEAKING

As a clinician and researcher, I am passionate about sharing knowledge broadly to the community.  In addition to traditional academic and scientific speaking, I have had the wonderful opportunity to speak to a numerous of different audiences, including health care professionals and patients/clients, on how to use principles of applied mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in the context of chronic illness. Some examples include Crohn's and Colitis Canada, Canadian Celiac Association, Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario, Pediatric Project ECHO, Hospital for Sick Children, and the University of Toronto. My goals are to convey concepts and practices in a way that is practical and workable for everyone. Check out the Resource page for freely available talks.
